What Was Early Earth Like
The Early Earth's Atmosphere
The early Earth was initially a very dangerous and uninhabitable place. It was covered in scorching molten lava from towering volcanos that made the air more dreadful than it already was. The atmosphere contained no oxygen because plants ceased to exist, so the air full of chemicals was highly toxic. These toxic chemicals were later washed away by the frequent pouring rains. The oceans were a disgusting brown because the iron hadn't been removed until oxygen came along. The lack of an Ozone caused harmful UV rays to slip into the atmosphere worsening things. Probably the hardest thing to grasp was the constant crator creating collisions from space rocks. One major collision created the moon. There was little green and blue. Imagine a world of orange and brown.
